Channel 5 has just confirmed that the breakout reality series will end after five years.

The series enjoyed huge success and rave reviews, becoming the channel’s highest-rated factual series to date.

Daniel Pearl, Factual Editor at Channel 5, said: “The Owens have become everyone’s favorite farming family and millions have enjoyed their unique way of life.

They said more information about the Owen family’s future plans would be revealed in due course.

The news comes after Amanda and Clive announced their separation earlier this year.

The couple had been married for over 20 years and in the summer Amanda said Clive still lives and works on the farm.

Speaking about Lorraine, she said: “Life goes on, on the farm, obviously there’s a whole [range] things to do.

“I have nine children, a whole bunch of animals, and we work as before because at the end of the day our priority remains to keep everything going.

“There it is, I felt it needed to be aired.”

Amanda announced to her Instagram followers that she and Clive are going their separate ways in a heartfelt post.

She wrote: “It hasn’t been easy, but we both think it’s the right choice for our family’s future.”

Our Yorkshire farm is available to watch on My5.
