American Trails: The gallery, located in the Columbia Hotel, 250 E. Main St., Ashland, showcases the arts and crafts of the Indigenous peoples of North and South America. The gallery will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Sunday, excluding public holidays. Masks are mandatory, and hand hygiene will be offered at the door. Art du Jour Gallery: Discover the exhibitions of 17 local artists in a myriad of mediums such as watercolor, oil, acrylic, pastel, pen and ink, Conté pencil, collage, sculpture , photography, mixed media and more. Until January 31, discover abstract expressionist paintings by Salon Artist, Alx Fox and animal photographs by Joshua Able. The gallery, located at 213 E. Main St., Medford, will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Private tours are possible outside of opening hours by reservation. Limit of 10 people at a time in the gallery.
Art Presence Art Center: The gallery, which features work by local artists in a variety of media, is located at 206 N. Fifth St., Jacksonville, and will be open from noon to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday. See the annual “Holiday Treasures and Angels Art Show” exhibitions, presented until the end of December. Ashland Artworks: The gallery features work by local artists in a variety of mediums, including ceramics, woodwork, fiber arts, and garden art. See the special holiday showcase that features the work of all of their local artist members throughout the month of December. Fiber Arts Collective: Discover the work of approximately 30 fiber artisans at 37 N. Third St., Ashland. Exhibits range from sewing, dyeing, knitting, crocheting, embroidery and felting to bookbinding, gluing, painting, printing, stenciling, beading and creating assembly pieces. Karon Gallery: The gallery, located at 300 E. Main St., Ashland, features period textiles and jewelry, antiques, artwork and furniture. See the exhibition “East meets East – The Year of the Tiger”, which features works from countries such as Japan, China, Tibet and Thailand, on display until January. Grants Pass Museum of Art: The museum, located upstairs at 229 SW G St., Grants Pass, features works by local and regional artists. The gallery will be hosting a ‘Faux Fun & 6×6’ fundraiser and exhibition, featuring faux masterpieces created by local artists and a diverse selection of artwork limited to 6 inches by 6 inches. The works of art will be on display until February 19, then auctioned off, with all proceeds going to the museum. The museum will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Tuesday to Saturday and by appointment. Entrance to the museum is free.
